wow.. umm i think this quote is saying that the greatest accomplishments go unrewarded. so if someone asked why he didnt have a statue, he would have more to say than if he actually had one

If someone were to ask him why he doesn't have a statue, its as if they are saying that he deserves one for all his acomplishments or that he is worthy of one. But if someone were to ask him what is that statue for, its as if they are asking, well what have you done that has made you worthy of such.
