i have a best friend thats a girl, and a best friend thats a guy, who is also now my boyfriend. so it just depends on what proof i have. i wont just automatically believe one or the other, that's stupid.

besides, everyone is capable of lying as well as hurting other people...it can even be an accident. a best friend could be jealous or do something stupid out of anger or something and then lie about it. a boyfriend could do the same thing. you can't judge if you dont know everything about the situation. i've been in a situation where my best friend (the girl) lied to me and my boyfriend was telling the truth. i've been in the opposite situation also. you can't always judge how to trust ppl by where they stand in your life.

Who has been with you longer and has proven themselves more trustworthy? In my case its my best friend cause I've known him for the last 4 years and I've put him through some pretty tough stuff, but he's still here. It all depends.

Personally, I would believe my best friend. I've probably known them longer than my boyfriend. I would always put my best friend first. That's just me though.

this is a tough question bc i actually have heard of friends (and experienced.. kinda) who mess with your head bc they dont want you with your bf bc they want 'em! it's a crazy world out there, so if it was me, i dont know what i would do.. :(
