I think at the very least the hospital should keep them and allow the patients to request them if they want them. It's not fair at all to ban them... If your priest can't get there in time, not a lot of other people carry around a Bible to read to you before you die. I mean, c'mon... |

That's ridiculous. I am not a religious person, but I see no harm in the presence of the bible in a hospital. The bible should most definitely be allowed to remain there, along with any other religious items. |

Woah! This is england, catholicism and christianity are practically the oldest religions here. I'm not racist or religious, but I do believe that if they are going to ban bibles then they should definately ban all other religious scriptures. |

thats really pathetic! as a christian i think that bibles should definately be aloud in hospitals. what people want to read in hospital is up to them. if we start doing stupid things like this where will it stop? |

I think that is ridiculous religion is a persons choice. If they want to read the bible then they can. If they don't then no one is forcing them to. I think the world is getting carried away with banning religion everywhere you go. In the hospital with people dieing they always send the Chaplin! It doesn't make sense. They even have bibles at hotels. I don't think many people read them during their stay but if they wish to it would be their choice. I feel the same about having them the hospitals. Everyone has their own beliefs. It is supposed to be a world of freedom. We seem to be losing more of that freedom everyday. |

"but under our first amendment in the united states, we have the freedom of religion, therefore, that would be unjust. " |
