Did anyone manage to get a text ticket for the Live8 gig in July at Hyde park? I havn't got one, but I only made one text. Some were texting all day at £1:50 per text - was that you?

No, to be honest I didn't even try to get any. Only because I can't make the date though and London is about 2 1/2 hours away from my house.

Did you know some sickos are selling the tickets that they got on Ebay though! I mean how low can people get, these tickets where given for charity, not for people to make a profit on.

Yeah, I see your point. What are the current bids on E-bay, I wonder? not that i can afford one. They should have made it one text per phone, and if you win you simply present your phone and number at the gig and get in. It's been another scam whereby the rich just text all day regardless of cost.

Umm...some were going for £1000 on eBay. But Geldoff has made them be taken off sale now. So nobody can buy them anymore.

Yes you can buy them. just check the ad sections in the papers.

I didn't mean you can't buy them whatsoever. I meant you can't buy them on eBay. As they've been taken off the auction sites.

They may have taken of the auctions where people are selling the tickets on Ebay, but I just checked and there are loads of people still trying to buy them off there.

They have put up ads saying '2 LIVE8 TICKETS WANTED WILL PAY CASH' and stuff like that. That's got to be just as bad as the people who were trying to sell them, right?

Hmm...yeah I suppose it is. But at least their not buying them for their own profit. Their buying them because they want to see the concert. I suppose that makes them a little less bad.
