Epic metal?...Explain please.

Epic metal...as in music...

I realized that.
I meant explain that type of music.

Okay...

well...it is generally known as Power Metal

Firstly, it is very beautiful...despite its nature as metal:P

The vocalists are usually excellent...

Many of the bands sing of epic incidents or nature...

and they tend to make extremely beauiful slow songs..

But their songs are usually beautiful, be they fast or slow..

I beg you listen to songs like...

Kamelot - Karma
Stratovarius - Infinity
Falconer - Portals of Light

I am guessing they use classical music as the foundation for their style?

I love early Metallica because of Cliff Burton's knowledge and use of classical melody and timing.

I'll check some out later.
