a few questions..

girls go for older guys b/c its a challenge and they look older and their status is higher when they're with someone older. they're "cooler" it probably sometimes has to do with maturity level too...teenage guys are rarely at the same maturity level as girls...teenage guys are still on sex, while older guys have that, but are also looking for the emotional part too.

i suppose the same applies for guys not dating girls their age...the whole maturity and personality thing.

i would say men definitely have the potential to mature, just as women do...it comes with experience and learning and relationships and how you handle things...some people never learn, others learn quickly, etc...

im assuming its a 16 yr old girl and a 22 yr old guy. either way, it depends on the person. i doubt though that the 16 year old has the same outlook on life b/c they havent had as much experience or been through all of high school yet. and love...some 22 year olds are looking for marriage partners, while most 16 year olds are just interested in dating. work...22 year olds are either in college or working already, while a 16 year old is just starting out work usually. i'd say they have different outlooks on all three of these things, but then again, it really depends on the person sometimes.

in my opinion, you can't pick who you fall for. we cant control what we're attracted to, we were just born that way. you cant make yourself love someone.

Why do YOU think girls go for older guys? Because they think guys mature at a slower rate so they need to be with someone older.

And why do guys who are 20 years old or older (almost) never date women their age? because the women their age are dating guys older than them :P

Also: is it true that men never really truly mature? no

What the hell is that about?.. its not true its jjust their masculinity and stuff sometimes stops them from wanting to, and fear of commitment, responsibility etc

And would you agree that a 16 year old and a 22 year old would have almost the same outlook on life, and love, and work, etc? its different with each individual some have the same outlook, some 16 year olds are very mature and some 22 year olds are very immature,

And another question.. do you think that it's possible to just pick who you fall for? erm no you can't choose who you fall in love with, you can choose who you hang around with, who you let close enough and get to know well enough to fall in love with.

Added: Do you agree that you can be in love at any age.. and it would just get stronger as you're getting older? yes you can be in love at any age, but your views and understanding of what responsibility, commitment etc love is can mature as you get older, erm it might get stronger, depends on your circumstances your experiences with love etc.

Because they're sexy, they're more mature and they have more experience (sp?). Not everyone thinks that, but yah, that's why i've been with a few older guys. And some of them know how to respect us chicks better.
