Did any one hear about the "instant trouble" IM?

that sucks. she did the right thing. what with all the shootings in schools now and such, i dont blame her for it. and even if it was a joke, harassment on things like im is getting even worse in schools. i think its pretty bad how that happens because you can say anything on the internet anonymously and not face to face. when people start abusing that..its just messed up.

i had something sorta like this happen to me....

all of a sudden i got a random IM from someone...and had no idea who it was...and they were just kinda talking and were like "guess who it is, i have classes with you, blah blah blah". and then they were like "dont tell anyone this sn" and at first i wasnt worried because i always got random IMs from people at school. and then they started saying stuff like "you better not try to sign off or block me while im talking to you because i will crash your computer" and they were like "youre the daughter of ::and put my parents name on the computer screen::...you have had these previous screen names, youve talked to smarter child and now i can get all your confidential information"...and i started gettin freaked out and usually i dont talk to my mom about stuff on the comp but i was scared so i told her and she came in. and then all of a sudden they were like "i can get your address just give me a second" and then they put my address on the screen...at that time i was almost screaming i was so freaked out, i was crying and shaking and everything...and then my mom got on there and talked to them and then they were like "dude this is sarah your best friend" and i was thinking no it cant be, if they know that much about me then they know shes my good friend. so i called her and it was her and she was laughing. my mom even started crying because it was so scary. i dont think i have ever been that scared for my life ever. in the end im glad it was my friend, but yet i cant believe she did that. most people were on my side when i told them and luckily i wasnt hasseled because we almost called the cops too.

it was scary....it might not sound like it to yall...but if u woulda been there it woulda been....

dude your friend sucks...and as for the origional situation the girl did the right thing and i hate the way people protect the popular ones even when they are in the wrong

yea she DID do the right thing...

and yea i was mad at first...but im too forgiving and i forgave her the next day....which i do with everything...

someone told her that she should send my mom flowers lol.....but she did write her an apology letter...

things like this is why i now have my aim set to where people i dont know cant IM me...
