Al Quada is been mentioned alot and i know that there is alot of shockness.

    Information:

Report is that two trains are stuck in the tunnels for the underground Metro.

Two people are still apparently killed, 95+ casualties.

Alot of people are still covered in blood and soot.

Kings Cross is just an airy soul. All the traffic has stopped and all people in those locations that are in the places that were bombed. They are all been evacuated.

Please stay indoors for you own safety.

Some people are saying it is because of the olympics or al quadea. what's happening?

    BBC says:

Two people have been killed and scores have been injured after three blasts on the Underground network and another on a double-decker bus in London.

but I heard that 6 or 7 blasts took place.

I'm so sorry for anyone affected by the attacks.

How can only two people have died, these attacks happened when all of London's transport was crowded to breaking point.

i am so with you on this one bob! It is sad that we know who does these things, with out a doubt and we give them more coutisy then we give someone whom commited a single murder. These people are just trying to destroy the safty we are trying to feel in a modern world. Its not fair to the public to give these people any rights, they gave up their rights when they made the decision to destroy the things they did.

My dad was where the bus blew up, really hard to get through as loads of phone networks have been shut down, everything is grinding to a halt and we are all being told to walk home.. no one is allowed to take buses or trains unless it is absolutely neccessary, its awful

  • natalie

Though terrible, sadly this attack is not suprising at all. Having spent the past 4 years targeting (sorry i mean "liberating") these people, it only comes to be expected.

If we keep fighting back, they're just going to resent the western world even more, though i disagree with their approach, who can blame them?!??

We've fucked their countries over, now we're suffering the consequences. Its awful that people have died but compare that to how many people we're bombing in Iraq, who are the real bad guys???

  • Selfrejected

Why does everyone think Iraq or some form of Arab had something to do with this.
Anyone can put a bomb places and blow stuff up.
Give it two weeks before making a judgement.
Let the investigation figure it out.

Ryan, People think it was to do with Iraq because a terrorist group linked to Al Quaeda has claimed responsibility.

    Al-Quaeda is blamed for everything.
Al-Quaeda did not attack the states.
    The states attacked the states.

I have a solution to the London bombings - it's very simple. If you're Muslim you're rounded up put on a boat and FUCKED OFF back to where you fucking came from. This is not racist. This eliminates the options of further terrorist attacks in this country.

  • Cut~Up~Angel

How is that not racist? or religonist or wateva. Just cos ure a muslim does not automatically make you a terrorist. What about the IRA there not muslim.

    Shut up.

Firstly it's not just muslims that could turn to terriosm any person from any background, religion, country or beliefs could turn to this way of life. The statement that was made I feel is racist.

Anyway I was in London yesterday from early in the morning when I went to work. Luckily I was not on any of the trains or buses that were affected by the blasts. Still there was a lot of panic around Central London and in my workplace.

When I eventually got back home to Hampshire, I found that the Naval base was on code red and there were many police around the area patrolling train and bus stations.

My local paper said that 50+ people are dead and 700+ people injured.

Another quick thing when I looked on the BBC's website for information on the London attacks I found a poem called 'London Pride'. I thought I would post the link for anybody who cares to read it. I did not write this poem all credit goes to a Mr Chris Neal.
    So here's the link:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/london/content/articles/2005/07/07/vanessa_poem_feature.shtml

I think it sums the events up nicely.

Mel: I looked at your profile and it says that you're 40 and living in the UK. I am slightly shocked by how stupid a man your age can sound but it makes sense when i think that you are probably a member of the BNP (British National Party). I did a paper on them for a government class and their ideals were both extremely ignorant and racist. Fits you perfectly.

I know someone in London and i'm waiting for their response. I send my condolences to anyone who has lost someone.

I live 30 minutes away from London. I was in Londond when all the bombs were going off. I was on a coach with my school friends, we were on a school trip. It was very frightening and horrific. We saw it all. Those poor people who suffered in any way, it's so terrible. Those terrorists will pay... the death toll has now gone up to 50, it is just so sad. I can't explain how horrid this all is. I am, however, very surprised at how calm London is now... very strange. I am not sure whether it is good or bad. I am so sorry for anyone who has friends or family who have been hurt by this terrible tragedy, my deepest condolences.

Do you have access to a London newspaper?

  • me

    Mel:

This isn't a matter of political correctness. It's a matter of common sense and decency.

If a guy with red hair breaks into my house and steals everything I own, I do not then victimise every single person with red hair and send them all away. Wake up, will you.

We don't yet know who carried out the attacks in London. It could well be someone who was born in the UK - so where do we send that boat to?

Enoch Powell was right when he said the influx of immigrants into the UK would eventually cause tension - but that has every bit as much to do with your attitude as their behaviour.

    Mel:

I think it is people like you who should be sent away...

I really do...Your obvious lack of intelligence, kindness and understanding makes you more dangerous to the society in which you live than 99,9999 % of the muslims living there...

And by the way, thousands of people are killed in Africa every day...I don't see a topic for them...

What a great world we live in

I agree. *sarcasm* Such a happy ass world where people give each other cupcakes every morning with frosting arranged into the shape of a heart....with sprinkles.

I am not a member of BNP, by the way or anyother extreme party. But let me say this: we're living in a world of 'inverted' racisim. Think!

I'm sticking my neck out here because there are no 'hairy fairy' answers to this predicament. Why should I be afraid in the country where I live of some relgious nut with a bomb who thinks they're going to paradise when they die and take out a couple of thousand people with them? And why should my views on solutions to the problem be middle of the road an totally PC. Are these people 'PC?' Me thinks fucking not. They have more support that you dare imagine.

  • EpithetPoet

So your solution Mel is to get rid of the entire race? If there was a WASP faction in England whose main goal was to bomb every governmental buliding in site and cause utter mayhem, would it make sense to get rid of everyone who comes under the WASP race? Me think not.

WTF? Tho. I mean I was sayin WEEKS AGO that if they sent so many cops from big citys in england down to the lowlands of Scotland then there was bound to be an attack on englands citys. DUH!!! Honestly how thick can the law get.

and there are those men who suddenly kill their wives without a reason...

All husbands must be sent away...

and there are actually a few doctors that kill their patients... get rid of all the doctors...

  • Wintersolstice

Nah lots of it is a dump.

Not to mention the goverment sucks. They take everything good away from scotland and ireland and give us all the crap. For example - they are going to put a waste plant on scotlands west coast (FOR ENGLANDS WASTE) which will wreck it AND they are going to introduce wolfs into OUR countryside to see how they react in the British wild. Wolves I tell u! GRR! Makes me so mad! They use us as testing sites (like thatcher did with the poll tax) and it makes me feel ill. Im sorry for all the lives lost. But its not the terrorists that are to blame - they are brought up to think these thoughts - its the English goverment-as usual-for letting them do it.

England is a lot like Scotland, except England is nicer :)

  • Wintersolstice

Nicer, lol no way. The airs cleaner here, the land up in the highlands is full of waterfalls, forests, mountains, rivers. The best you’ll find in England is flat fields and a few trees-apart from in the Lake District-its nice.

  • EpithetPoet

I think you may have some biased feelings towards England because you really cant base your own opinion upon a few corrupt individuals throughout history or a few landfills you've seen. Besides, every country has a bad governmental system to some point, and every country has bad features. You say that England is dirty and unclean, someone else could counter that Scotland is podunk and full of sheep farmers. It's all on how you look at things.

Been there, done that, had the IRA try to blow me up. We're British, our hearts are bigger and it's going to take a hell of a lot more than 40lbs of explosives to deter us.

I'm insulted that they think that will stop us. That's less explosives than one bomb from the blitz. It's PATHETIC.
