I go to take my driving exam on wednesday. I am kind of nervous because my permit expires exactly a week after that. I could have had my license a long time ago but my mom wasn't ready for me to get it. I am afraid I've picked up a lot of bad habits. Do any of you have any tips for me? How many of you failed your test the first time? |

okay...so i kno that it is now Fri...I hoped that you did pass your exam...i didn't fail my first time, but i was VERY VERY nervous. If i had read this before today all i would have told you was to stay calm. It isn't really all that hard. I think it seems hard b/c people get so scared. Driving is a privlage (spelling?) but it is basically all common sense. Sorry i am late in posting a response, but i hope that you passed your test. Email me anytime if you want....and btw....WEAR YOUR SEATBELT!!! I had my first accident last december and the only reason i am here today is because i was wearing mine!!!! |

Don't worry about it. It's simple. You drive around town for an hour, park and you will get your temporary license and in a month, you go before a judge with 80 other people and they talk about responsible driving, show you a video and you get your hard (permanent) license. Simple. |

I haven't taken it yet..I don't take it til the thirteenth. I don't think I have to drive for a full hour. We just do the Man. and drive for about four minutes. I don't think we even have to park. My driving instructor said the whole thing could only take about five minutes. Thanks for all of your encouragement! It really means a lot to me. |
