REALLY STUPID QUESTION

I'm on ebay and I want to order a movie, but it says its in english dub(Its a japenese anime). What does english dub mean?

maybe it means english subtitles... I dunno just a suggestion

the voices are english....the japanese ones have been replaced

You must be new to anime, because most otaku know what dubbed means - which is exactly what Enslavement said. It's basically what you would see on TV in America. Dub versions are not nearly as good as the original Japanese versions. They cut a lot of material out and some voices just don't do the charaters justice. I recommend finding one in Japanese with English subtitles. Most DVDs have this feature. Good luck. ^_^x Which anime is it?
