16 year old boy

okay, so i'm 13
the boy i like is 16
my mum totally approves and he's such a gentlemen- he'd never take advantage of anyone (he's geeky and shy and sooo nice)
we belong to the same sports club, so we're probably gonna know each other for a very long time

should i wait to let him know how i feel? considering the age gap, and all that.

please dont just say he's 16, he's gonna take advantage. anybody who knows him will tell you he's not like that..
