Do you think online chatting lowers our social skills? I'm just wondering since I'm bored.

Yes I do because I hardly talk to my friends anymore outside of the internet!!

ive lost my mate to the internet, how depressings that? Finallycomes out and doesnt stay for long as he can no longer handle his beers.

A long as you don't act like a fool and tak lyk dis all the time, and you actually get off the computer and see the light of day every six days, I don't think so. I know I'm always on, but my social life hasn't suffered at all because I still go out with friends and do other things that don't involve a keyboard and mouse.

I totally agree with Eclipse. I still hang out with my friends everyday. But everyday I come online just to talk to my friends!

well if you're on the internet talking toyour friends like aim or something then no. but if all you do is play games on the computer or whatever, then yes.

Yeah...I have real shitty social skills to begin with, so I don't know :P.

um.. well i've really had much of a social life. cuz all my friends move away. so.. if my internet were taken away i would have NO LIFE. so... its kinda a good thing at times.

Hasn't affected me, either.
