Yet Another Tattoo.....

I guess the title says it all, I finally got another tattoo. It was supposed to be my 18th birthday present, so it's a bit late seeing that I've just turned 19 in July!

That means that I now have a grand total of 4 tattoos, or 3 depending on how you look at it. I have designed all my tattoos myself, I think it's better that way as it makes them more personal than picking a random design from the tattooists portfolio.

So how many of you have tattoos?
What are they and where? Are they your own design?
How many tattoos do you think is too many?
Do you think that guys can get away with having more tattoos than girls?
Has anybody else had tattoos under the legal age limit of 18 like myself?

I have 1 tattoo. it is on my right breast area. It is a red rose with the Harley Davidson shield. That's all I have & that's all I want. Most people don't even know I have a tattoo.

As far as too many.... I guess it depends on the person. I used to date a guy that didn't even know how many he had... he had A LOT of them.
My oldest son is 21 & addicted to tattoos & piercings I think... LOL... I also gave him a tattoo for his 18th birthday. He has a total of 7 now. The only one he has that I don't care for is on his neck, it's a tribal dragon. I like the tattoo... but would have rather had it placed somewhere else besides his neck.

One tattoo on my back [from my right hip to my left shoulder]. It's a black dragon curving up my spine, its tail around my hip and it's head on my shoulder blade, clutching a red orb in its mouth. It's claws look like they're tearing into my flesh as it 'rests' on my back. I got it when I turned 18, so it was all legal.

I don't have one but i would like to get one on my lower back sometime. I have a question for those who have....how bad does it hurt? Do you bleed and stuff? i just wanted to know for the future....

To me, it didn't hurt that bad. I have a high tolerance for pain. It feels like a series of tight pinching, really. It mat bleed a little. I couldn't tell if mine did, but my cousin got a tattoo on his arm and he said it bled some [tiny beads of blood - not much, if any]. Like piercings, at first, you have to keep it very clean, or they'll get brutally infected [never happened to me, but I've heard horror stories]. If you really want it done, go for it. There's nothing to be afraid of aside from tattoo parlors who don't sterilize or use disposeable equipment [that's a nightmare I'm thankful I never had to go through]. Good luck and don't get anything you'd be ashamed of in sixty years, because removal hurts three times worse than the tattooing itself.

yea sum ppl get names of their b.f's and g.f's then break up and theyre basically stuck with that 4 life unless they get it removed or w.e

i have one...i love dragonflys...i don't know why but i do..and i have a dragon fly in my....well near my....*cough, cough*...i wanted one that u had to find..and one that wouldn't show unless i wanted it to.

My Pops has a tatoo of the Grim Reaper on his back. It looks really cool, but i gotta admit it is kinda scary.

I'd like to have a tatoo...but for one i need to be a little older than i am now (lol), for two, i'd have to be living under my own roof to get it, and for three, i also have a phobia of those needles. O.o Lol...

Tattoos do hurt a bit, I guess it depends on the person, like someone said above. The cow's head that I had tatooed on the base of my spine didn't really hurt at all. But my latest one on my ankle hurt like hell!

As for the bleeding, my tattooist told me that the lighter colour your skin is the more likely you are to bleed. Not sure how accurate that is though?

I love my tattoos, wouldn't change any of them, but I wish that I'd waited untill I was 18 to have them all done. If you think you want a tattoo done I would say pick the design you want, leave it by your bedside for a couple of weeks, so it's the first thing you see in the morning. After a fortnight you'll have a pretty good idea of whether you want it permantly or not.

I have a self drawn Alien (from the self titled films) on my right shoulder. I had that done when I was 18... nearly 11 years ago... bloody hell time flies.

Looking at getting the Neverwinter Nights 'Eye' logo on my left soon.

lmao. people who get their b/fs and g/fs name tatooed are idiots. lol it's like taboo. i don't have any tatoos. n i don't think i'll get one. i got my cartillage periced earlier this year n that was enough mantainance for me.
