Okay, how many people out there have seen Moulin Rouge(Ewan McGregor, Nicole Kidman, 2001)?

I am so in love with that movie. Lol. But I have not met very many people who have seen it.

I even started to like the REAL Toulouse-Lautrec because of it. I think he was brilliant =P

Yeah, I hope one day to visit Paris and stop by there when I'm older. I know a lot about the history and everything. Toulouse, Zidler, Chocolat, Jane Avril, La Goulue, everything.

I guess it's safe to say I'm a bit more then a tad bit obsessed with it. =P

If you get the chance to visit the show, you will love it, the atmosphere is really something and you will love the champagne!

Moulin Rouge (2001) was a brilliant movie, a visual and musical extravaganza.

Anyone interested in the life of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec should also see the 1952 film of the same title. The entire film was a portrayal of the artist's life, his work and the pain and sadness he endured from a childhood injury that deformed and disabled him.

The earlier film may seem very old fashioned after seeing the newer version of Moulin Rouge. But I thought both films were excellent, each in its own way.

I've seen that! It's a really good film. I think I might actually own it..

But really, it was made in 1953 but you get so caught up in it that the year doesn't even matter. I enjoyed every bit of it. It's an enjoyable watch.
