I thought I'd have a look see if I could find an more people trying to pass that poem of as their own. On the first page of results after searching 'I Love About You' I found two!

One said that it was not their work, so I guess that makes it slightly better, only slightly. The other just said 'PLZ VOTE AND COMMENT'. I did report that one.

Anyway I was just wondering are we supposed to report poems that are copied if the person who posted it states that it is not their own?

I never was the sort for the plageriser witch hunt phenomina, but one of my own poems was taken from this site and put on another of the poetry sites I frequent by another 'poet'. Eclipse...this year, i'll be certain to have fun. :) My last year of middle school, so i'm going to make it a blast for myself...cutting out all this pre-school drama from two years ago so this year's going to kick major butt. ;)

Yeah. My eight grade year was awesome. I was on the school's basketball team, broke the school record for high jump [5'2"], I was in the choir and had a solo for the spring concert and I was the assistant head editor of the student literary magazine. For once in my life, I was moderately popular. You're at the head of the school. Keep your head up and your year will go great!

When people plagiarise, why do they never pick a good poem to steal?

Don't know, some of them do. I guess it depends on the person and what they feel they can pass as their own.

My question is when people plagiarise, why do they even keep the same title as the original poem? I mean that just draws peoples attention to the fact that it is a copy.
