what do you do if.......

Your leave a topic saying if people comment on your poems you will comment on theirs and somebody comments on alot of my poems but there all the short comments. 'Well done!" "Nicely written!" and stuff like that? Should you comment on their poems or what???

if you say to them, "i'll comment on yours, if you comment on mine". You havent actually said "If you leave a long comment on mine, i'll actually comment on yours". So in all fairness, yes you should comment on theirs no matter how long the comment is.

well if they think it's ok to just comment "nice job" or "well done" then it's ok to comment back on thier with a "good" or "nice job" too. if they want to get lazy with comments then they shouldn't expect a huge long comment on thiers either should they? you didn't say you would leave a long comment just a comment, and apperantly they think they can give you a short one so it should be no problem if they get a short one back right?
