We're doing links from the stolen poem, as the real poem might not even be located on this site.

When we find a poem that has been posted by multiple people, we can't tell who is the real author, so we report all of them. The moderators (or whoever recieves the Report Copyright Violation emails) will determine what to do.

(Dates don't help, as the first person to post the poem might have copied it from another website.)

How do you know which is the original?

You don't. The date doesn't say anything, since it might have been copied from another website altogether. Just post the plagiarised poem's URL.

"The Plagiarism Police are reporting a plagiarized poem" is not enough of a comment.

I've seen others report "Love's Curse" as stolen FROM Jessica Reed, now you are saying SHE stole it? What makes you think that? Give me links or a book you saw it in.

Ann Marie, try typing a few lines from the poem into a search engine. You'll see that it comes up on way too many sites. While we can't prove that she was not the original writer, try going onto some of those sites and comparing the date that Jessica posted hers to the date that the others were posted, and you'll find out whether it's hers or not.

As it is, we're just trying to help. You can do the investigations, we'll do the reporting.

That's a serious problem if Love's Curse was plagerized. I would also like to know about links from where it was stolen. It been here for so long and is the no. 1 hit of the love poem site! Hmmmm!

That one is sick. Kiss me is written by "Sixpence None The Richer" and is quite a well known song. The lyrics are literally splattered throughout the net.

Wow..thats cool, but do we really need a shame board, I mean catching/reporting them is enough, isnt it. Then again, it is nice to know what poets are theives...Hmm....Its very iffy.

Not as iffy as the people who put other peoples works under their own names and put lyrics to popular songs under their own names! There are still tons of them out there and the PP is here to stay and here to get them.
