mp4 Player?

What is an mp4 player? might seem like a stupid question but i honestly dont know. Technology always seems to find Australia last *sigh*

MP4 whould be better known as MPEG-4.
Which supports video as well as audio.

Just because the number is higher doesnt mean it is better ;)
It is simply a type of file encoding to support the compression of audio and/or video files.
As in 'Make the files smaller while sacrificing some quality'

you'll probably need Quicktime to play mp4... or Itunes maybe.

i just wanted to know what it was and i found images of mp4 players but not descriptions of what they were and i just wanted to know because some of the mp3 players on ebay i was looking at were also mp4 players.
