How can I confrount my friend?

Sorry its pretty long, but it would mean a whole lot if you read it and commented!

Ok, first of all I'm a very good listener. I'm the type of girl that all my friends come to for advice, and I love helping other. Lets say I'm not the first to judge others.

Now that I got that over..

Today I was informed by a friend of mine, and a friend of mine and hers has confrounted her about a "serious" situation. Without asking questions it happened to remind me about how the friend lets call "Katie" has been very nervous when talking to me. Just the night before we were having a civil converstation and she broke out into the whole " YOU KNOW, WHO TOLD YOU" topic. At the time I had no clue what she was talking about, but I could tell something was bothering her. I figured if she needed help or advice, she would come to me if needed.

Well today when talking to my other friend about the little converstaion last night with "Katie" she kinda spilled the beans on "katie" so-called problem.
"katie" thinks she might be gay.

I have NOTHING agiasnt gays at all. I respect their decisions and treat them as they should be treated.
And I'm not posting this to complain about her situation either.

The thing is, now that my friend told me, I just hate to see her pretending anymore. It's almost odd, not becuase she might be gay, its just becuase shes still pretending. I understand it takes time and all, but she makes it so fake. Ramdomly talking about hot guys and such.

Me being a trouble solver, wants to go out and help, even if theres not much to do to hell. But atleast have someone for her to talk to.
I don't know how to do this. Should I just wait for her to come forward... I really don't wish to confrount her.

What is your say on this?

wow!!! alot to take in aye? wel u sould do wat u think u should! seriously thee is nutin rong with bein gay she prolly just a lil embarresed!!! i think talk to her bout it but dunt day I NO UR GAY that mite not go down well lol!!! hint it out slowly!!!

Ya ok I will try that. But now thinking back, its just odd becuase I know she HAS done some stuff with the opposite sex. And I just think its weird for her to just decide now.

Any other ideas?>
