AIDS?

Can anyone help me? My friend may have HIV/AIDS and im really worried, the test said "Not sure" He is gettin results in two weeks time, but if it comes up positive .. does anyone know if it definately kills or how long he could live with it etc? I'm a little confused about it.

There's a huge possibility that he could die, because HIV attacks the human body's immune system...

To put it like this without all the explanation, if he does have AIDS than something like the common cold could be a rough ride for him, possibly leading into death.

I hope he doesn't have it though...but i really don't know much about it either.

Hmm...accordingly without medical treatment about 3 years. If he takes medication, he could still live MUCh longer. But that means medications every day...but dont worry...they r trying very hard to come up with a vaccine...

Thanks Bob. No apparently he had a sheet with all STDs he was tested for, and there was "Yes", "No" and "Not sure" :S I didn't think it was correct either but apparently so.
