Men, Men Men..

Ah I'm here to vent, becuause I REALLY need to, so comment if you want or anything.

So I'm a sophomore in HS, and on the 24th is our homecoming. All my friends are going, and I was planning on going with a guy friend(FRIEND.) He goes to differnt school, and he's my friends ex boyfriend. I was getting all ready, and the first bump in the road was I was not sure if it would be ok to go in this one group becuause my friend would be hanging out with her ex( my date.) Then we found out that he had to work, so he might not be able to go with me, and then he was talking about how he would quit his job to go, and I was like... I don't want you to do that for just one dance. Then I told him I wanted to go as friends, and he was like.. well what else would we go as... and then the next second, he was like.. maybe we should call it off... I asked if it was becuase I wanted to go as friends and he didn't respond. Then I asked was it becuase I wasn't a $**t, and he got all made and was like.. is that what you think? Then he went off on me about this whole he thought we had something sha-bang, and called the whole thing off, and told me to have a nice life...

So I lost a homecoming date and a good friend..
I'm so down right now

Obviously, he wasnt a very nice friend. He hurt you, do you want to spend time with people that hurt you? I sure dont.

Ok so wait....he told you that he was going to basically do anything to go with you....but then when you told him not to...he got upset...understandable...but then...he asked to call the whole thing off...and you freaked out on him....you asked if it was because you only you wanted to go as friends...he said no...so then you said...oh is it because i'm not a slut.....

I'm sorry....I would of blown up on you as well. You dug yourself into that hole....have fun climbing out.

Sorry I'm not too good at explaining so let me clarify things.

He asked me a while ago, I got back to him 2 days ago saying I would like to go with him. Then he mentioned that he had to work, so I was all confused about if I should go buy a dress, and if this was going to actually happen. He told me that he prob. won't be able to go, so we both called it off. Then later that night I guess he wanted to go agian, so he was talking about him quitting his job to go, and telling me how he felt bad if he didnt go etc. Then I felt I should mention that I wanted to go as friends, and then he called it off, becuase he thought we "Had something, but he was wrong." and told me to have a nice life.

Britt? My dear? Are you sure? Don't do that...I don't want to find you on the side of the road covered with rats....

Ok I'm sorry...that wasn't funny.... I take it back...

well, logically, maybe you should talk it out with him, i can understand why you didn't want him to quit his job, but you should call him or something to let him know you're at least sorry and by the way, all guys don't like sluts (7% at least)
