if your okay with it, I think you should have her wait till she's a little older (16 maybe, I don't know)...she might change her mind. on the the other hand, if you don't want her to have it, tell her no...period. let her wait till she's 18. if I were you, that's what I would do. |

...Er. Tell her to think about other people would say and how they would judge her. Of course you would want your child not caring what others say... but in the future, if she gets a tattoo on her body that's pretty visible all the time, or a piercing on her face, do you know what the boss or owner of a job would say while she is getting a job application? People don't want those 'kind' of kids working at their place looking like that...I sure wouldn't. |

I'm also a parent and I wouldn't be so concerned about a body piercing or two but I would be very concerned about the safety of the procedure. Serious infections can and do result from these procedures when professional hygienic standards are not followed. |
