Okay this sounds realy stupid but my boyfriend hits me
it started with just shoving and now its well lets just say its bad, he wasnt like this at first do you think I can get him to change

There is no way to change an abusive partner. But their behavior changes. It always gets more violent and progressively worse.

Abusers only change their modes and moods. But the violence never ends. They’ll bash your head till your bathed in your own blood and then have you convinced it is all your own fault. The next day they change again and become loving sweet, kind and apologetic. Two days of calm and then get ready for your teeth to be knocked out. You see how they change?

Too many women have gone to their graves way before their time because even after they saw all the signals they still couldn’t believe this could happen. But it does happen and keeps happening because women make foolish choices not to gather up enough courage to flee from abusive partners before their brains are lying all over the floor.

Listen to Bob deary....go...far away!! He'll never change. He may promise he will and hug and kiss you...sweet talk you....but he will ALWAYS be abusive. The more time you spend together, the worse it will get. My mother and my sister both have spent years in abusive relationships and they only got WORSE with time. Let him go...you deserve so much better! :)

leave him. there IS hope for everything. people CAN change no matter how bad they were before, but rite now, you really need to leave.

They don't change no matter how much you want and need them to. Please belive me before it gets to late and your trapped.

NO, men cant be changed no matter how bad you want them to. please leave him, honestly if you dont it WILL only get worse like britney said above me. guys who hit their gf's aren't worth sticking around with. and i know you may love him...but sweetie, your life could be in danger. i truly hope everything works out

Thank you all so much it has been a very long week and i apppriciate all of the advice i have left
my boyfriend of seven years its going to be a long road but i hope and pray i am strong enough to get through this.
