Question FOr THe Guys

Ok my question is..i know ya'll have heard this b4...how can i tell if a guy likes me?

My situtation:
One of my best friend is going through a VERY tough time with her boyfriend,whom i happen to like. They will break-up and then go out again. But thats only because she keeps cheatin on him with the same guy over and over. I can tell he's starting to get tired of it. Well on Halloween she was grounded so he came up to my house and we hung out and went to the haunted house in town. Another thing is i've been friends longer with him then with her. After we went trough the haunted house,which he held my hand all the way through, i told him that Jennifer,his GF, had kissed Matt on a band trip we went on. Later that night i kissed his cheek. I felt something not sure what but something. Tonight in about three hours im going to a football game with him and then we are comming back to my house to work on a project and hang out. So i kinda need advice ASAP! PLEase help me...i have no idea what to do..He says he would break-up with her if a certain someone would make a move then he looked at me. Does that mean anything?

PS he's planing on breaking-up with her anyway becaues she cheats on him too much/

Well if he did exactly as you said when you said "He says he would break-up with her if a certain someone would make a move then he looked at me." Then I'm guessing maybe he does like you, and maybe you are that girl because if I said that to a girl and then looked at them I would mean the girl I looked at. But that's me. But did he look at you in any sort of way, as in turn to see a reaction from you or anything?

He said "YOu know i would break-up with Jennifer. If a certain someone would make a move."
Then he looked at me just with a sparkel in his eye ...but that may have just been his eyes in the dark. Because we were sitting on my porch swing talking in the dark.
