A Question

Okay, so I'm not sure if this belongs in another board...but I'll put my question here:
Are we allowed to put "found poems"(they probably have a different name, but that's what my creative wrighting teacher calls them) on this site, a found poem is when you pick a theme, then look through a book, or other text for words or phrases that relate to your theme, and re-arrange them in a poetic way. I know your not allowed to post anything thats not yours, but I'm not sure if found poems are yours or not. If anyone knows, please enlighten me-Thanks

I guess you can you create poems by being isnpired by others and such. But taking words out of a book and then sorting them into a poem, lacks any kind of skill you have. You're better off writing your own.

As long as you don't copyright a poem, then you're fine!
