Copyrighting-i need advice

    does anyone have information that can help me.
    i am wondering about it. does it cost?

    Copyright protection is automatic. As soon as the work is fixed in a tangible form (On paper, disk, etc.) it is protected under copyright law. You do not have to place a copyright notice on a work for it to be protected, but it is a good idea to do so because it tells others to whom the work belongs.

    You can also formally register a copyright with the U.S. Copyright office. I believe it costs $35 for each work. My opinion is that for most poets that would be a waste of money and time.

    sweet i never knew that, can't you just like put the little c syumbol on the bottom of your work though??
