Hmmm... I think it all depends on the ppl in the relationship and their interests... because you are going to want to keep their interest in the conversation. Don't ask questions like "How was your day?", try asking more specific questions like, "Did you do anything interesting today?" and things like that... because then if they say yes, you can ask what and then they will tell you... I dunno.. just try to be more specific... because that will give more feedback... leading to a longer, more in depth conversation... Just a suggestion :) |

sometimes starting a conversatiion isnt as easy as you all think. my suggestion is that act very friendly: smile a lot, make good eye contact and show the other person that your giving ur full attention to him/her |

talk about something you both share at that moment, like how cool the pub, club, cafe is where you are, then ask something non intrusive about what they think...say about the band who are playing, or something like that. |
