Hmm... I, being the well educated individual I am, decided to turn on the oven and the grill (they're the same thing, just different knobs) at the same time. I decided to turn them both off when smoke was slowly oozing out the top of the oven. took an hour before it stopped smoking.

    I have never truly recovered.

When I was 17, I had a 69 Chevy Impala. It caught on fire while me and my friends were in it. I just figured it was over heating, so we were all just sitting there. Finally my friend Bud got out and looked under the car. He came back and got his stuff out of the car. Then closed his door and said "Holly, your car's on fire". He was just as calm as could be. I told my other friend Tammy that he was joking. I looked and he had walked up the road and put his stuff down. I got out of the car and sure enough there were flames all under the car. We took of running toward my friends house(whom we had just dropped off) and Tammy got bit on the butt by his dog. Talk about an exciting night...lmao!
So in comparison, I'd much rather deal with an oven fire than a car fire.
