    I think there is a reason you have fears about this. As you say, you are fortunate to have a good family. Personally I would not take a chance on complicating things in your life right now. I would wait until later in life if you still want know your birthmother.

    Have you discussed this with your parents?

    And BTW I also believe in God but I also believe the events in our lives are determined by our own choices and our decisions. So bad things can and DO sometimes happen to good people.

    It sounds a little like my half-sister. I was told about how she saved up so that she could locate and visit her birth-father.

    By what I heard, she went and visited him, saw his new family, talked a bit, then came back home.

    I'm glad she did, if not, who could say if my niece would ever have been born?

    i'm sorry but god would never let that happen to you... like earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, volcanoes and othher natural disasters he planned for fun... your problem is man-made i real this has nothing to do with the post but shit that usage of god is just wrong
