Lost

We have the American series 'lost' on our tv's at the minute here in gloomy ol' Eng-er-land. It's usually on for an hour (with loads of adverts) and it seems like it's been on forever. The question is this. How many episodes are there? It doesn't seem to be reaching any conclusion as yet, and I'm kinda getting pissed off with it and feeling that I don't give a fuck if the characters live or die. You know the feeling.

5th and 6th season!!!???? Which season are we on now then? Do you mean series, Ismail? Or seasons?

we are now on the second one, Mel, so it´s a long way to go...

England is still on season 1, but it has a pretty good climactic ending to it. As has been said, there will be 5-6 seasons. and 22-24 eps per season.

Season 1 is rather boring in the middle, but gets good to the end. Stick with it, and you will eventually get to see some action.

Well I actually bought the whole first season and I watched it in two days. Now there is 6 cd's with 4 episodes on each of them. Once you start watching them you just get addicted. OR at least I did

I can never know when that series will end....

Anyways, once it ends they'll continue playing reruns so you never know when it ends. Then you'll be ever more confused...

Jesus! I don't think my patience will lasty that long; nor my memory of what happened previously. I can see what they are doing..... the damn thing's become an ongoing soap opera with no conclusion.

The word 'lost' and the title 'lost' are beginning to have a commonality. This makes the programme very postmodern: take it as a whole or take it in bits, but you'll still end up 'lost' one way or another. Just a thought.
