    The Light...

    My Fears
    My Tears
    My Laugh
    My Cry
The Light Has Punished Me For All My Lies
My Mistakes Are Soon My Last Good-bye
    It Hurts
    It Thrives
    On Whats In Sight
It Doesn't Matter Day Or Night
The Light Reveals With All It's Might
The Scars And Cuts I Try To Hide
The Light Soon Shines On All In Sight

Hmmm... Is That Good... I Dunno I'm Not Very Good :'(

    That sunshine in the distance

Open your eyes, look past your tears
Into the world that has turned grey
The dank smelling past we all must accept
That keeps us from becoming brave

Look further than the gray lands, look through the mist
The world may not be perfect, but it has it's own twist
Look even more than that, closer now you see
The last gleam and glitter of freedom existing in reality

The grass is still alive, the sky still has that certain tint
And oh, the sun does cherish it
Glowing like a rock striking sharp flint
Turn your eyes if you do not wish to see
    What innocence may truly be
But look into the sun, whatever time of day
It is sacred; in nature's special way

Be glad there is a light, so that we can see
For in darkness, no one can agree
Turn your head to the distance if you feel pushed around
Look up at that wondrous beauty
    Differing from the ground

    The Beauty of Her Passion

If such be thy will, fairest of Ladies,
I say that thou art`as fair as any,
fair beyond my skill to tell, and that I,
be it by my hand through poem or song,
or by the loveliest act of my tongue,
never will fully be able to tell
the endless beauty of all that I see
when I lay my humble gaze upon thee.

When the sun does rise, and the moon does wane,
they do so, alone, in awe of thy eyes,
and to only see thee again, they rise,
and how the stars glimmer to honor thee!

`Tis beauty even when thou art´ in pain,
thus thy gruesome death was not all in vain.

    Winner: Apathetic Soul

Everyone else ties for second. :)

(I suppose this contest wasn't taken as seriously as we could have wished...So I didn't rate as harshly as I normally would have.)
