    hurrah brave knight and knightessess...i have written a poem so fiendishly clever, i'll give a special prize to anyone who can tell me in reasonably detail what it's about.

    It's called

    "For Blindness"

    Death and Glory await you.

    its a cleaver play on the word eye, and i. it seems to me to relfect how you can loss yourself in ether god or a loved one, as they loss themslef in you.

    LOL commented.... great piece... no matter what you intended for it to be, poetry is always about what the reader percieves.

    Ah.

    I keep the Chalice of everlasting life for another day then.

    Many of you seem to have interpreted my use of the line

    "where God's stability" as a reference to the Christian God, but, in a poem which was to me, all about being submissive with your personality, and in the presence of someone you either admire or fear, or love as someone said, you become unstable and morph your own self to match theirs.

    Thus, "stability" of personality being a God, some kind of highest ideal for our nature.

    Anyway, none of you win the prize, though Sherry Lyn may take sip from the cup and live a long and happy life.
