Please help...

Not that I am really qualified, but in all honesty you should never give up writing if it is something that you love to do.

You should always strive to improve because no matter how good you are you can be better. Just keep working at it and try different styles.

Bob Shank is a great writer and has many different versions. I recommend that you contact him for questions about poetry. Sunny is also another excellent poet as well as many others on this site.

Sorry I cannot help much, but these lads are some great examples and byy what I can tell they are always willing to help someone improve.

You might also want to join a poetry group. There are many good groups that help members learn more about writing styles and that have exercises to help a writer grow.

I for one am in a group through this site called Effect of Poetry. I must say that I have learned alot and grown within the group thanks to all the feedback that I am given.
