Hidden Fears

I fear that twenty years from now
I'll start to feel despaired
When I look around to find no one
To hold me when I'm scared

I fear that I'll come home from work
At the end of every day
To find my house just like it was
Before I'd gone away

I fear that every single night
I'll always stay up late
Getting to be as loud as I want
Since there's no one there to wake

I fear that I will sit alone
Watching couples as they kiss
Knowing no one's looking for me
And that I have no one to miss

I fear that I will never love
And that I'll never get the chance
To ever give my heart away...
To ever have romance

Congratulations TinyD...... this write is just so heartfelt and I don't know about anyone else, but, it brought me to tears when I read it. It's a fear that I am sure many people have and it is portrayed so perfectly within this write. Wonderful job TinyD and congrats again.
