Pulling Me Down

my best friend of 8 years has went through alot and when she crys i can't help but to cry with her i'm not sure if i should do or what i should say--we'll read this poem to know whats going on*this year* others years have been worse-------------------------------------------

A girl of just 12
went through allot.
She once had a family
better of forgot.
Her father in jail
all because me-th
Then her grandma close to death. She lives with her grandma
with her brother almost 1, sisters
two and four A little girl of just 12 I'll remind you once more.
Her mother calls
a tell her she stopped the drugs.
that shes getting her life back on track.
She believes her mother and cries some more
Then hears a knock on the door.
As she opens the door to see the cops.
Tears drench her face
she never stopped.
Intel the words the cop said
gave her quite a shock.
We know your mother called
and exactly what she said
We need your mother very quick or will afraid of what we'll do
What your mother is doing
is putting harm on you.
The little girl of just 12
Looked into the cops eyes
and told where her mother hides
As the cop left
she went inside
what was going wrong
Made her want to die.
Now this is over
tears come every night.
Her father has 10 years
Her mother I'll never know
