opinions - which is better?

Okay, I had this assignment for my creative writing class that I'm taking at my high school. We went over a few poems selected by the teacher in class, and the assignment was to pick one of them and create an original work modeled after it. My problem was... she gave us twelve to choose from! I couldn't pick just one, so I wound up with two completed poems and now can't decide which to turn in. They are called "the lips are" and "i can't see you". I could really really use some help with the decision making. The good news is I don't have to turn one in until Thursday or possibly later. (It's 10:15 pm Tuesday where I live right now.) So if you could read, comment and tell me there or come back here and tell me which one is better, I would super appreciate it and be sure to help you out with some poetry love. Oh yeah, if you do tell me which, I would prefer that you tell me why as well. Thank you all kindly!
