UNFAIR SUPERBOWL

Anyone you watched the superbowl (even steeler fans) could see something was wrong. Unfair penalities towards seattle (30 yard penalty for holding) and no steeler penalites (oviouis of holding, nothing called) and the first touchdown by the steelers? was it really a touchdown? People are starting to question whether the refs were paid off or maybe it was just stupid judgement. I guess nobody will ever know.....

I didn't watch the superbowl but EVERYONE at school was talking about how biased it was.

I saw the game, and at points, it looked biased, but if you didn't know. The NFL board wasn't to pleased to know that the Seahawks and the Steelers were playing the superbowl in the first place. What I mean by that is, lately, the NFL was getting alot of bad press. Mulitple drug charges, other cases with players for assualt, and let's not forget that Boat scandel. The head honchos of the FL (meant to do that) wanted clean-cut teams to make the FL look good (Colts, Pats, etc...). Knowing that the Steelers (who did have some bad press) and the Seahawks (A marketable team, but nothing to give the FL's image look... Nicer, I know...stupid) were going to the bowl, they had to have something planned. The penality's did have a very biased look to it, but in the end, it was the Seahawks fault for being in that hole to begin with. No clock mangement, no sense of urgency until around 3:15, and it was still a two possesion game. If you know you're going to play in the Superbowl, you can't hold anything back. Bad calls, bad plays and it didn't even seem like Seahawks gave it their all. Hey, maybe the Refs did get payed off or not, its still on the teams that played and the steelers wanted it more.
