when to give gift?

It depends on what it is. Dinner is always a nice time. Or after. If it's something expensive, dinner is better. I don't like the beginning because it kind of makes the rest of the night boring. I would go with dinner. Lol.

best time is always the end..

Any time is the best time when you're with the one you love. My suggestion ... the earlier the better, then sit back and relax, the worry about presentation will then be gone and you can just enjoy each other!
