thryoid problems

i read a while ago that having an over active thryoid means you have a higher chance of getting depression, is that true?

i have been trying to find out, but nothings coming up

please help

Actually it is true IF you fail to take the proper medication to control the thyroid hormones in yur body.

I have a throid problem but I have no signs of depression. So yeah, take your medication.

i am on medication so that weakens the chances of me getting depression? so if the doctor took me off the medication i would get depression is that what your trying to say?
