i am a quiet person & find it hard to start comversation
so urge him to talk more..
talk about his interests & what he likes
maybe that will open him up

that's really aporblem and im suffereing the same problem. well i had...anyway if he dosent show that means he dosent like u.. i donn about shying guys but i dont think this is the problem.... guys are wiered sometimes they say they like you and they dont show it or may they dont know how to show it... i dont understand them and ill never do...

sounds to me like he's just nervous!
