Me and a friend had a discusion today about fishing, well not really fishing but anyway.
I said that maggots cannot feel pain and she got really upset by this and started to say how 'discusting' i was for using that as an excuse so i would not feel as guilty when i go fishing.

I was surprised at how personally she took this and was even more surprised at how childish she was by calling me names and getting angry at me.

Anyway my point is do you guys think that maggots (not fish) can feel pain?
    If so does this matter?
And also would the experience of pain be drasticaly different to ours or would it be just as unpleasent?

Dont you just hate vegetarians....I am partly one of them, but I hate their mentality. Why kill animals?

Well he is a question for you Veggie hounds

Why kill Plants? Don't they feel pain and have feelings. Unlike animals, plants cannot run away or scream.
