As if we experienced nothing

And it was supposed to end up fine
But in the end
You made a mistake
And thought I was lying
How could I compare anyone else to your love?
How could I? Just tell me
I'd like to know how you got that thought
My heart just feels frozen
It's winter again
I should still be loving you this year as well
This new year... oh baby, this new year...
I'll have to forget you.
I'll have to throw away our memories
I don't think I can love you again
Just because you don't love me
Our love was a treasure
Life was a pleasure
Honey can you send me snow?
Send it in a package

I am happy and I am glad, a part
that whom I choose had broken my heart.

Still, I complain......
If I was not worth and I was wrong,
you should have let me know
so that I would not have wait for so long.......

But still.............
I am not broken
'coz its better to break heart,
by just giving a thwart;
rather than hurting the feelings,
as it takes time in healing.

My heart is broken and its there no more,
But my feelings are with me as they are not yours.

My pain would have been less,
If you would have confessed;
Before building up of my expectations,
And loosing my patience.

'Farewell'

I used to fly but he took my wings.
The wound had healed but now it stings.
He helped me swim but then I drowned.
I used to smile until I frowned.

Now I know where it went wrong.
I knew it never would last long.
Whatever happened, he'll regret.
But memories, I never can forget.

Intervention Divine

Walking; clicking;
Stones drifting between the ocean waves.
Splashing the shore with water yet drowning my sorrows.

Speaking; knees weakening;

Remembering our final kiss.
Touch of your lips; heat of your breath on my delicate cheek.

Haunting; smiling;
Image frozen in my mind.
Screaming; calling; Your voice dying in my dreams.

Seagulls talking in their native tongue; mocking me.
Ocean swallowing the spirit you captured.
Lost before your time.

Shining; glistening;
Golden ring sitting in the center of my hand.
Bitter metal reflecting the coldness piercing this torn heart.

I'll cry until these tears flood
the water systems of the world.
Grand canyon would not be deep enough to hold my hurt.

Missing; listening;
Replaying that tape of memories stored. My thoughts.
Hoping; Needing; desperately praying the gates of Heaven are open.

Breathing; Sleeping;
Yet even still he steals
the curved angel wings from your back.
Ignore him, though, for he will never take your place.

My love rests with you...

but commands me to allow a
