My computer is down and so when I've time I've been using the local library computers to check my mail and rant and rave to you lot.

However, today I comes in and four machines to the left of me library staff are going through the computer log on history of a library member who left the building a while ago. I overheard one of them say they didn't like the look of him!!!

Surely, they're breaking some law to do with the 'information act' or something like that. I think it's f***ing criminal!

Does anyone know the law on this?

If your from the US yes is breaking a law but I'm not sure which one. I think the library staff are taking away the person's "right of privacy" or something like that. I know for sure it's one of the amendments. Maybe the first? Not sure

The staff are surely pathetic for what they have done, and will always be so.

But if you check on porn or other obsene things. The least you can do is get your own computer where one cannot see it...Lol.
