new contest, slightly different

This contest is slightly different.

I would like you to write a love poem, titled
"Love like this"

It can be as long as you want,
It doesnt have to rhyme but can if you want,
It can be about any kind of love, whether it is Lost love, Affectionate love, Desired love etc

There is only 1 rule,
One poem per person

Rewards will be:
Everyone who enters the contest will get there poem on my site
4th Place: 1 comment
3rd PLace: 2 comments
2nd Place: 3 comments
1st place: 4 comments and added to favourites

nah... lol...kidding...actually....might i suggest another alternate topic to write on....something a little more different that the usual...cos im bored with love lol....my hearts gonna burst if i fill anymore love in it :P

i just thought that if people posted there poems here, everyone could see them and get hints and bits from them and it wouldnt be fair, but if you want to post the poem here, you can.

~Love Like This~

Today you are my inspiration,
I've never known someone like you.
A person so amazing, so beautiful,
even after all that you've been through.

Its crazy how you cope with things,
that aren't even your fault.
I'd be lucky if I could survive,
half the battles you've fought.

Just the sight of you,
makes each day that much better.
If you were not in my life,
nothing else would matter.

~Love Like This~

The worst is when you love someone,
as more than just a friend.
She teases you and flirts with you,
to you it's not pretend.

All her friends will tell you,
"I think she likes you too."
You'll knod and shake your head,
as if you already knew.

But, inside you are always questioning,
if to her it's just a game.
But, you're in love, it makes no difference,
to you it's all the same.

You sit with her when your alone,
and try to take things further.
No further than a hug or kiss,
and she's labeled you a pervert.

Now things are all messed up,
because you had thought wrong.
She didn't really like you,
you were right all along.

Sometimes, when you're in love,
you take things more to heart.
When it comes to women,
men have no clue where to start.

Love Like This

When I was young, innocent, pure
I was taught that love was perfection
They said that love was something to adore
Not pain, heartache and rejection

Those who I aspired to be
Placed biased thoughts inside my mind
They said love was good for me
Instead, I fell and was left behind

They taught me to love and hold
A member of the opposite sex
To marry, and to grow old
But really love is more complex

They thought that I would be slow
They thought I would not realise
But instead I was hit by the blow
Of love, without it's clothes of lies

And now I sit here all alone
Remembering my childish past
And how I never feared the unknown
Love like this happened much too fast

love like this can never be found
not in the heavens nor in the ground
we are together forever bound
of complaint there is never a sound

when im upset you hold me tight
or otherwise in the middle of the deep night
and if there is a biting harsh fight
we work through it without creating a sight

when we hold each other i hear the bells ring
and on the boughs of our love the fairies swing
of loving i am the master, you the king
of our love the pure gaurdian angels sing

so alone you must never ever leave me
together with you i can always easily see
all the good in the world and shining key
to neverending life and all of immortal eternity

can it be love towards God?

It can be about anything, as long as the title is Love Like This - and the poem has some relevance to the title. I think . . . I would say yes though . . .

LOVE LIKE THIS

Our love is magical, nothing can compare
your the only one i want, love like this is rare
Every time im with you, i just cant get enough
I know i will always be with you, even if things get rough

Everything about you makes my heart melt
This is the most feelings that i have ever felt
I'm so glad we found each other, i would die without you
I wish you could see how great you are, through my point of veiw

Your smile is so perfect, it makes me want to cry
I can trust you with any secret, for you can never lie
Your more then i could ever ask for, your more then i deserve
Everytime you touch me you mess with every nerve

I wrote this to tell you i love you once more
I dont want to hide it like before
