    Ladies and Gents welcome

Im interested in the intelligent opinions of others - intelligent being my key word.

Define women and modesty to me...
Do you think its evident in todays society?
Or do you percieve it as lacking?
Do you think it has changed over time and if so due to what?

Please no arguments, all comments are welcome and valid :o)

    Eirisa:

I think that western culture has made it a basic fact that beauty in itself, is being in nothing more than a skimpy underwear or at least showing off some flesh.

I think modesty in its essence does not sell to today's male market, where they have been exposed to pornographic and nude lewd videos and pictures. Since the eventual rise of the internet.

Modesty is a good factor and a great tool for women who would like to be called a "lady". But parading around in a g-string and shaking in the thong song is what our culture has become.

Thanks for everyone who posted educating me more on the opinions and thoughts of others.

This question came up in my religious class and I was kind of interested in thoughts of others around the world

All your comments are very valid and have helped my understanding further

    Thanks guys :o) and girls

Apathetic: I didn't mean working class women specifically - women in general teenagers being young women inclusive of that group and even young girls these days also due to the influence of older women in there lives
