Breaking Through The Dark

You're painting my windows black,
with the brush you've kept for yourself,
acting like you don't know what you're doing,
as you pick up your tools from the shelf.

You do your work so subtly,
it took me forever to see,
but with each and every word you spit,
the darkness slowly consumes me.

Everyone tried to warn me,
a good friend hinted from the start,
saying maybe I should use my head,
before I took off with my heart.

The darkness is hard to fight,
as you keep drowning me in your waves,
picking all my flowers,
and leaving me with your graves.

I'm not strong enough for you to dump on,
yet you do it with no remorse,
choosing your words so carefully,
so it feels like I picked that course.

Then I'm strangled by your words,
the ones you carefully elected,
to get me stuck on what you say,
and drop my defenses so I'm no longer protected.

But now I know what you're doing,
and it won't happen without a fight,
so next time you try and consume me,
stop and think about what it right.

Hold Me

Hold me now, as the light begins to fade,
My eyes are losing, the wonderful shade of jade.
Hold me please, as the tears fall down,
My eyes feel as if they are going to drown.

Hold me close, as I tell you my fears,
Let me wet you shoulder, with my tears.
Hold me tight, never let go,
Because life sucks, there's nothing to show.

Hold me up, no matter how much I want to fall,
And talk to me for hours, when it's you that I call.
Hold me, and say you'll never leave me alone,
I'm slowly dying, yet I can still smell cologne.

Please just hold me, say you love me,
Because I love you, can't you see?
Yes, just hold me, I need you now,
Don't treat me like snow, as if your a plow.

I need you to hold me, don't push me away,
No matter what you do, my love's here to stay.
I'll die if you don't hold me tight,
Because I cut myself tonight.

I hold my wrist, because of you,
I;m almost dead, but it's not yet time to say ado.
Hold me, as my lips turn cold,
Treat me as precious as gold.

Hold me, as my life is leaving,
As I start to have a hard time breathing.
Hold me as I say goodbye,
You say it back, but I've missed your reply.

I've died.

My heavens are brass,
My earth is iron,
And my moon is a clod of clay.
My sun a pestilence,
Burning at noon,
With a vapour of deathly silence.

The Tale Of A Werewolf

Light turns to shadows
As day turns to night
My presence is unknown
I must stay out of sight

I grow steadily weary
The time is drawing near
Slowly I am filled with dread
I start to shake with fear

I stumble to a room
Lock myself in tight
There's no way I can escape
There'll be no killings tonight

Suddenly the changes start
In agony I scream
This is way too much to bear
I wish this were a dream

The pain finally stops
I slowly rise to my feet
Power surges through my body
I'm a beast that knows no defeat

I race around the room
Frantically searching for a way out
Frustration grows inside me
Until I want to shout

A howl comes from my throat
I hurl myself at the door
I will not be trapped
I never have been before

The door splinters on impact
Joyously I howl
I jump through an open window
To begin my midnight prowl

I race through the woods
The full moon leading the way
The thirst for blood surges
I must find my prey

A smell drifts through the air
Unmistakably fresh
I run in that direction
Towards the scent of human flesh

Mad with desire
I fly through the night
I come to a camp
Killing everyone in sight

In the morning I awaken
In my human form once again
I realize I'm in the woods
And my head begins to swim

I take in my surroundings
Gasping at the sight
The ground is covered with blood
I shudder as I remember the night

Sorrow fills my body
Tears fall down my face
Knowing that I must leave
I vanish without a trace

A Promise Forever!!

Everything you wish
I'll make it true
if this is the way
to prove my love for you

every word, every promise
that I gladly make
isn't a real promise
if its meant to break

I promise to keep you warm
when you feel a cold shiver
you will never need to cry
this is a promise forever

I promise to be there
when you need to cry and weep
I will hold you so tight
and our love is a promise to keep

I promise, I swear
this is not to forget
these promises that I make
since we first met

I promise you, my love
there will be a second chance
if you ever made a mistake
you can ask for another dance

I promise to love you
till our very end
I will be a lover
and a very best friend

these promises are to keep
the love we both share
the end of this love story
will be a beautiful fairytale

so every wish, every desire
I'll make them true
day by day I'll prove to the world
How I'm deeply in love with you

`Broken Jigsaw Heart.

I'm trying to pick up the peices,
Of my broken jigsaw heart.
Put them all back together,
But I don't know where to start.

It's been broken into so many pieces,
And it feel's like needles against my chest.
Stabbing and throbbing, It never stops,
How did I get so depressed?

Theres so many unanswered questions,
That are locked inside my mind.
No one knows the answer to them,
Why am I falling behind?

Theres so many people,
Stopping and staring.
Their magnet eyes,
Won't stop glaring.

What are they thinking?,
Who do they see?
Do they think i'm crazy?
Or is it just me?

Who can I turn and run to,
When no more can I deal.
How do I trust them?
And no there lips are sealed.

I'm trying to pick up the peices,

Put them all back together,
But I don't know where to start.

"The long lost dream"

"I can not save the world" she says,
and looks at the sunset view,
She sits and thinks of wonder woman,
She wants to be her too.

At the age of only ten,
she knows what she'll become,
"If I can not touch everyone,
I will try to touch some."

She has decided years ago,
A writer is what she'll be.
She will not follow the rest of the crowd,
She won't be trapped, but free.

Five years later the dream came back,
"I almost let it fade,"
Now she thinks back to that night,
when the dream of her life was made.

She starts to tell people,
about her long lost dream,
She is so exited,
Out she wants to scream.

But people underestimate her,
"A writer? Please, come on"
Her courage took a turn,
Her fate was nearly gone.

She can't believe they even dared,
To think she couldnt win,
A tear fell down her burning eyes,
She burned deep within.

She decides in that moment,
She will never quit,
"I'm not going to save the world,
I'm going to change it!"

Uhoh. 40, finally. Time to send it to the judges.
