I need some help - mentoring.

Ok I mentor a girl in year 7 so she's 11/12, and she is ebing bullied. well recently she has been saying things like "do me a favour and kill me now" and I said "ah well i'll get into trouble im afraid" and she said to me "Well then give me the knife and pretend I committed suicde" but seems to be doing it in a lighthearted kind of way, so I tried to make it the same kind of light hearted ness. I don't know if I should inform the mentor co ordinator or not about this as im not sure if it is serious and don't ant to break her trust. Any advice?

It is pretty serious, just for her to be thinking that. If you have to break her trust, at least it's for the best.
