    Hey People! alright heres the question.....do you HAVE to be signed up with AOL to be able to have AIM?? my friend doesn't have aol but she still has aim but i can't get it.....any advice on how i can get it? ( i dont have AOL)

    Any help would be MUCH appreciated

    Nope, I have Aim without AOL, just go to www.aim.com and signup for a screename and download the messenger.
