Until I herd her voice

I felt so happy,
Until I herd her voice.
It brings back memories.
It brings back pain.
All I hear is rejection.
All I feel is rejection.
All I fear is rejection.
I hear her voice,
and I'm afraid to love again.
The world's against me.
All hope is pushed back.
Sorrow overflowing.
I can't balance my heart any more.
Her pride overthrows her feelings.
leaving me to my own.
She attempts to prove to me in words,
and fails with a sense of pride still left,
and a tear in my eye with a broken heart.
These feelings are released with no where to go.
I'm rejected and replaced with pride.
From the soul who can not control their decisions.
I'm left shattered and un attended to..
Not enough faith to live on.
When you look to the sky, you hope to find stars.
When you look to the ocean, you hope to see fish.
When you look for a forest, you hope to find trees.
When you look into their heart, you hope to find love.
But once you lose your hope.
you lose your sight,
and love turns to sorrow as sorrow slowly ends your fate.
The stars are gone,
The trees die.
The fish disappear,
and you still can't cry.
I felt so happy,
Until I herd her voice.
Her rejection.
