I think they should have both healthy and other. You need some fat etc sometimes. You can't live on rabbit food your whole life. Even though I do like the whole rabbit food stuff, but that's not the point. |

I think schools should be obliged to provide a healthy alternative for childrens lunches. However I think a child overall well being and health is a parental responsibility. My kids are not given lunch money - I happily pack there lunches full of substantial meals and snacks on a daily basis because there health is MY responsibility. I also educate them on healthy food choices and inform them of the dangers of consistently eating unhealthy foods. There diets are in no way restricted and they can eat sweets and junk food in moderation however with the way they have been brought up they prefer to enjoy healthier alternatives. |

stupid question, but do you call a "Canteen" what we call "vending machines"?..if so...they may be particially to blame....I agree that obesity starts with earlier age eating...you cant just gain weight from simply eating from a "canteen?"...i mean you can, but to be Obese? |
